About the Author:

Dr. Hasan Murshed obtained his medical degree from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, and a Master's degree in Medical Physics from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. He completed his residency in Radiation Oncology at the University of Alabama-Birmingham, where he served as the Chief Resident. He further pursued a fellowship at the University of Texas, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.

Dr. Murshed holds dual board certifications from the American Board of Radiology (ABR) in Radiation Oncology and Medical Physics. He is an active member of the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO).

With over 15 years of experience in private practice, Dr. Murshed serves as the Medical Director of Hope Regional Cancer Center in Panama City, Florida. He is deeply passionate about both the educational and clinical aspects of radiation oncology. Additionally, he is actively involved in community activities and acts as a dedicated advocate for cancer patients.
